The challenge

Bloom Boutique is a two-person independent fashion store with a loyal local following and no marketing team. Posting was sporadic — two posts in a good week, none in a busy one — and every post looked a little different because it was made from scratch under time pressure. Engagement had plateaued and stories were rarely used.

The approach

  1. Brand kit in ten minutes. Amara uploaded the logo, two brand colours and the shop’s typeface, and set the tone to “warm, playful, never salesy”.
  2. One brief, every format. Each week she writes three or four one-line briefs (“new linen arrivals, airy and effortless”). Tapost returns square, portrait and story versions of each, with captions and hashtag sets tuned to Instagram and Pinterest.
  3. Batch and schedule. She picks favourites, edits a word or two, and schedules the month in one sitting.

The results

Within eight weeks Bloom moved from roughly two posts a week to daily posting, with stories every day. Time spent on content dropped by about 80%. Engagement rate rose 42% against the previous quarter, and story replies — which drive most in-store visits — tripled. The feed now reads as one brand, which Amara credits with a noticeable increase in DMs asking about specific pieces.

What’s next

Bloom is adding a Pinterest strategy built on the same briefs and testing carousel posts for styling guides.
